Nothing has enough room. Every system that carries information has to decide what to keep, what to throw away, and what the trade is worth. That decision looks different depending on where you stand.
- Silicon — energy to bits. What it costs to move and store a bit, and how those costs decide which designs are possible at all.
- Markets — conviction to price. How what many people believe, weighted by what they will risk on it, gets squeezed into a single number, and what is lost on the way.
- Expression — thought to form. Turning what one mind holds into something another can rebuild, and why the shortest version so often feels like the truest.
- Mind — senses to model. How a brain turns a lifetime of input into a model it can act on, and how much of that a wire could read or write.
- Systems — parts to behaviour. How many parts, each with its own view, become one thing that acts, and what each gives up for that.
